Rekeying means we re-pin the cylinder of your existing hardware to match a brand-new key. It's faster and cheaper than full replacement, keeps hardware that's still perfectly good, and can often be keyed alike — one key for the front door, back door and garage.

Rekey or replace — which do I need?
If your hardware is good quality and in good condition, rekeying is usually the answer. If the lock itself is worn, dated or not up to the job, we'll say so and quote a replacement with locksmith-grade hardware instead. You get a straight recommendation, not an upsell.
Can you key all my doors to one key?
Usually, yes — if your cylinders are compatible (or can be made compatible) we can key your home alike so a single key runs the lot.
